INDIGENOUS SOUL - NATIVE AMERICAN WOMENS DRUMMING CIRCLE

Time: 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM

The Women's Native American Drumming Circle of Winston-Salem Indigenous Soul - a Women'sDrumming Circle open to all women who want to drum, chant, sing and express themselves by expressing their indigenous soul.l Indigenous Soul will provide a nurturing, non-judgmental atmosphere for all women, regardless of musical experience. Indigenous Soul will also provide opportunities for women to make their own frame drum. Indigenous Soul will convene on the second Thursday of each calendar month from 5:30-6:30pm before Clan Mothers.

NO MUSICAL EXPERIENCE NECESSARY
Prerequisites: To have made your own frame drum

Agreements: Be willing to make a 12 month commitment to the group and be willing to participate in community outreach events

We will be learning traditional chants, newly released native songs and original compositions.
We love ULALI. If you like ULALI then this drum circle is for you!

Prior experience not necessary. Tuturing is available if needed.

Facilitators are Robin Lynne,Luzviminda and Mary Jamis.

NOTE: TUESDAY, JULY 1 - moved from Thursday due to the July 4th holiday.

Women may join at anytime throughout the year.
